Canada Day on the Vancouver

Canada Day on the Vancouver

HMCS Vancouver (the “Vancouver”) paid an official visit to the City of Vancouver during the Canada Day long weekend.  This was the first official visit since the return of the Vancouver from active service in the Mediterranean off the shore of Libya (Op Mobile and Op Active Endeavour).

The CO, LCol Harj Sajjan, his wife, Dr. Kuljit Sajjan, Honorary Lt. Colonel Scott Shepherd, Lt. Manjeet Vinning, and Ted and Gayle Hawthorne were guests of Rear-Admiral W.S. Truelove, Commander of Maritime Forces Pacific to attend the Canada Day Fireworks reception aboard the Vancouver alongside Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal.
